Who is responsible

When you send the enquiry form

The details you type — your name, your email address or phone number, the journey and anything you add — are stored on our own server and emailed to the driver so he can answer you. They are used to answer that enquiry and to arrange the journey, and for nothing else.

They are never sold, never shared with an advertising network, and never added to a mailing list. You can ask for them to be deleted at any time by writing to the number above.

When you just read a page

The web server keeps a log of the pages it serves, and that log is counted into a statistic: which pages are read, in which language, on a phone or a computer, and which site or search engine sent you. This runs on our own machine. No data goes to Google Analytics or to any other outside service.

Your IP address is not stored. It is combined with your browser identification and a secret that is thrown away every day, and only the resulting fingerprint is kept — which means today's visits cannot be linked to yesterday's, and no row can be traced back to an address.

The WhatsApp buttons lead through a link on this site that forwards you straight to WhatsApp. That step is recorded on the server — that it happened, and which page it happened on — because it is the one thing this site needs to know to tell whether it is any use. It carries no identity beyond the daily code above and no message content: what you then write in WhatsApp is between you and the driver, and this site never sees it.

The page itself also reports two anonymous events — how far down it was read and how long it stayed open. Those come from the page, and they are switched off entirely if your browser sends a Do-Not-Track or Global Privacy Control signal. The forwarding step above is part of the server log and is counted either way.

No cookies

This site sets no cookie of any kind, and stores nothing in your browser — no localStorage, no session storage, no fingerprinting script. That is also why you were never asked to accept anything.

Fonts, maps, embeds

The two typefaces are served from this server, not from Google Fonts. There is no embedded map, no video player, no social widget and no content delivery network, so no third party learns that you visited.

How long anything is kept

Statistics: 730 days. The daily secret behind the visitor fingerprint: seven days. Enquiries: as long as needed to answer them and to keep a record of the journey.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to the statistics. Write to the WhatsApp number above and say so — there is no form to fill in.
